A continuation on from my previous image Cradle Mountain Split Sunrise
Anzac Day in Cradle Mountain National Park, Tasmania as part of the “Fagus Week” activities. Up at 2:30am and walked in to this spot for a sunrise shoot. Such a great spot that Rob , Mark and I decided to “lets just hang around and see what the light and weather does”. Not only that, I think they realised that I didnt have enough petrol in the tank to check out plan B & plan C. So we hung around about 8 o so hours, and watched the light changing while scouting different angles.
It was absolutely fantastic watching the brief sunrise, and then the clouds close in soon after, only to come out again to brilliant blue skies. I had trouble getting away from this little tarn, it had great angles.
I can’t wait to see more of what Rob & Mark got.
I think I might be doing a bit more sitting and waiting from now on.
