A design inspired by the traditional patterns of toile de jouy.

Parus caeruleus
SIZE: male and female, 11cm (41/2in) long. VOICE: various calls, typically a scolding ‘tzee‐tzee‐tzee-tzit‘ also more melodious trilling sounds.
HABITS: very active and agile; specialised for feeding at awkward angles. In the garden, will hang upside‐down to reach peanuts suspended on a string. Well known for its ability to obtain milk by pecking-open bottle tops. Nest made of moss, wool, grass, or leaves, etc. in hole in tree or wall; nest box also frequently used.
FOOD: aphids and other insects, also nuts and seeds.
