On a visit to one of my favourite walking areas, I came upon a field full of blue and pink lupin. Getting myself down into the tall grass was an effort for “I who have a bad back” and I was a bit worried I might get stuck. But the effort was definitely worth it to get some decent shots. I took this with my Olympus SP-800UZ on May 24, 2012 in Ladner, BC, just west of River Road on the other side of one of the Fraser River’s tributaries. Dedicated to my faithful Tegan who waited patiently as I got down and then up again!
