Artist's Description

Children’s stories were supposed to hold a lesson for the children and a passive way to guide us into doing the good things in life so that we could have a prosperous life as adults. I don’t recall telling my children the story of Goldilocks and the 3 Bears; however, in telling the story to other children, I realized later in life that ordinarily Goldie would have been charged with B&E. At the station there would have been additional charges like destruction of property. I was wondering with children being the way they are now and having so much more information at their disposal, the classics might need a little tweaking just to get the “real” point across.

This work was created on 9×12 Mixed Media paper. i used fine tipped black ink and water soluble colored pencils.
