Artist's Description

The Honolulu Hale is the site of the Mayor’s office and Honolulu City Council. The City Hall was completed in 1928. Although the outside is colonial Spanish, the interior courtyard, staircase, and open ceiling were modeled after the Bargello in Florence. In 1951, the two three-story wings were added to the original structure. This is one of the outer doors.
