Artist's Description

In all the stresses of todays life and the worries over politics etc. It’s very easy to think about taking the path of least resistance for just one day. The least complications, the easier tasks, the least conflict, are usually what we all want from life.

Picking a path is really more difficult than follwing one.

To take a path, “pick a path in life”, however, is seldom a conscious choice. Ther are so many times in which our pats seem chosen for us, as it seems?

Like, No one chooses cancer, illness, pain, suffering, childhood diseases. No one can determine economic choices of those governing ones country. No one chooses when some one will die or live, but it sure does alter your path. No one can determine if the comanpy they work for is stable economically and they will have a job tomorrow. Some of these changes can positively take yoou down paths you’ve never thought you wanted to tread in your lifetime. Life changes, like illness induced early retirement definately takes you on paths unexpected. Divorce; wow, what a patch change. I’m not sure how anyon would paln on going into a marriage, just to plan a divorce. I don’t know many people who dave their divorce attorney on voice-dial. Sometimes it just happens. New paths are not as easy to navigate, as our familiar old beaten paths. It’s kind of like being an explorer without mapquest, a navigator, or a map or anykind in a new world. Only those who have the courage go forward on the path, can find what’s waiting for them ahead. The fear of unknown obstacles on our paths often freeze us into a paralyzed state, therefor preventing us from moving forward. The surrounding are unfamiliar, and often ver scary. The fear of what is at the end of the path is often the scariest of all or what obstacles we must continue to fight in order to get to then end. Will the end of the path provide us with what we thought we were searching for? Will it lead us to a huge dissapointment? On thing I do know is though I have experienced many dissapointments in my life thus far and many a crooked paths. Somehow, I have always been able to find the straight and narrow path, some may fell that I’m fortunate or maybe my path maybe the “less traveled path”. My paths have never been the paths of “least resistance” I do assure you of that, bu the “beaten path”, has always beat me down. Without FAITH, I would have gotten lost I am SURE on my travels throught this complicated life. Faith that no person, job, family or friend can give me. Strength from faith to keep cutting back the weeds and vines that continually obscure the view of the goal, is what we all need. I believe it is the strength we derive from our relationship with God and faith that, God is in control. God is there on the path with us, and it is up to us to let him be our guide.

These verses from the bible may help you see why I continue to have faith! I hope they will give you strength as well.

This photo was taken the weekend my father-in-law had a stroke in Atascadero, CA he is doing better now. I knew when I got home exactly what to put with my capture.

Psalms 16:11 Thou wilt show me the path of life; in thy presence is fullness of joy @ thy right hand there are pleasures forever.

Psalms 17:5 Hold up my goings in thy paths, that my footsteps slip not.

Whatever path you’re one, no matter how steep or troubled it may seem, how overgrown the problems and worries, how crooked, God is always there. Go is there to help us stay on the path that leads to him, if we believe, trust and call on him.

I do hope you enjoy your journey today wherever that may tak you, keep focused on the one true goal! Trust & Call on Him, he is there.
