Artist's Description

An amazing sight to see such exquisite large animals roosting high up in the fork or a tall rainforest tree, it was about 10am in the morning and they were basically sleeping in the fork with the joey nestling into its mother.

These Kangaroos have a very long and furry tail ( unlike a kangaroo ) and strong claws on front paws and hind legs , they are very adept at climbing, there is no way I could have climbed up this almost vertical tree trunk some 10+m off the ground.
