Artist's Description

These were the larger of the two boas , they were more often on the ground however they do climb trees when hunting for Chameleons during the night.
This one was fairly large about 7 feet and slithering across the road side in pouring rain and in this instance was directly under our feet when it was noticed as we were taking photographs of chameleons in the adjacent trees , it was actively hunting at night and relatively placid when approached.
