The delusion of love.

A flash, a burn. Then came the tears, hanging on the edge.
Searing eyes with bleeding soul. With one breath she felt it all again.
Her heart was breaking.
The world spinning before her, how easily was she used. Discarded after all, like the toy of some disinterested child.
So many whispered promises with laced, lusted lies.
Mind racing…
What more can I give?
What more can be offered?
He was her heart. She, his fool.
The sorrow that she bled, kneeling before him half her former self.
Closing once more within…
Every moment crushing, watching him walk away.
Lost, no air in the room. The delusion of love.

The delusion of love.
