Natural snow…. from the Blizzard of 2009.
Although we didn’t get hit hard with the blizzard, we got plenty of snow from the 12/19/09 snow storm! A blue jay at my back yard bird feeder. Natural color and snow….. slight Orton effect. Taken in Clarks Valley, Pennsylvania.

The Blue Jay is a large light blue and white bird with a black necklace. The crest moves up and down at will. Non to partial migrator – will move to find food. Frequent visitor at bird feeders, eating seeds, insects, fruit, and nuts. Highly intelligent bird that will scream like a hawk to scatter birds at a feeder. Blue Jays are a common backyard bird in Pennsylvania.
