'Blue Eyed Boy (Part III)'

He stood at the gangway of the aircraft, wreathed in black. Dreadlocks of jet tied high upon his head, nudged into the slightest of motion by the hot summer breeze. He could not help, but to grin from beneath the brooding frown he perpetually resided beneath. As he stepped from the gangway onto the sundrenched tarmac he began his stoic march forward, [in stride with the entity who surveyed the urbanscape for enemies from inside his plated armour] twisting to the west and the setting sun he looked out over the vast landscape that stretched before him. The worlds collided again in a flash of light and the memories cascaded before his waking eyes, waves and lines of energy danced around the numbers and sentences that were implied by the surreal and haunting score that accompanied the scene.

_[Weapon drawn, the other paused his reconnaissance to stare out across the desert sands, to Narayan in the distance]

He forced himself to embrace the beauty unfolding around him, to shed the bloodstained tattered emotion that welled up from within his heart. Carried upon a frozen gale it howled through his mind, the sweetest scent and a gentle note were its herald. Tears and blood flowed in its wake. He imbued them inside a beautiful face, that he knew well, and purged them from his thoughts. Fate fell short, but he was home. he beamed in earnest, the beautiful smile he had inherited from his proud and ancient family. He knew now that every moment would be another chance to turn the tide.

[The incandescent sky grew bright,
The warm breeze caressed the night;
As the stars rose overhead.]
