Artist's Description

The Fibonacci spiral is a mathematical seqence of numbers that can, for some reason, be seen echoed throughout nature.

Finonacci introduced this the Western European mathematicians in 1202. The first two numbers in the Fibonacci sequence are 1 and 1 and each subsequent number is the sum of the previous two. 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144….

The nautilus shell is the classic example and sunflowers, seahorse tails, pinecones, etc. You start to see it everywhere. I have seen dozens of crop circles utilize this shape.
