For the last month or so I have been unable to upload my files to redbubble on my computer, and the only way for me to do it was to use Barb’s laptop with the image on flashdrive. Tonight we sat down and checked all the settings in Firefox, tried uploading on IExplorer, checked privacy settings etc but nothing changed – still no upload.
Then we did a google search, and someone suggested our antivirus (AVG free) could be the culprit. I uninstalled it, and instead installed Avast. Hey presto, I can now upload images…. very interesting but also important as I know other users have had this difficulty uploading images.
So check your antivirus program … you may just find the solution there, I did.
(ps thanks Barb for the suggestion……and I’ll never hear the end of it….)
As a user of Panasonic Lumix cameras,(FZ20,FZ28) i feel compelled to reveal the secret to getting the best images from them,as the countless reviews i have read and Panasonic’s promotional blurb,fail to touch on it.The lens of the (in my case)FZ28 is capable of superb detail,much of which is lost when the camera processes the Jpeg,and while it does some fairy impressive magic getting rid of noise,it also gets rid of detail.So if you really want lovely Jpegs i urge you to shoot Raw,when high quality is your aim.The supplied software SilkyPix works a treat and is simple to use,and the moment you open a Raw image in it you will see it cleaning up the noise and leaving the detail intact,giving you a lovely "silky"result.They’re are many other adjustments you can make before hitting the save t…
I have checked my overview and found that some wonderful person (or persons) has bought some of my work today – 3 mounted prints and 2 cards. Whew! I am gobsmacked – and very thrilled that you like my work enough to buy it, whoever you are!!
