The Laird, Melbourne, is one of Australia’s longest running gay-owned and operated venues.
Since its humble beginnings in 1980, The Laird is now well recognised throughout the gay community, both local and international.
Formerly known as "Melbourne's only bear and leather bar", The Laird has progressed over the years to become a haven, meeting place and party space for same-sex attracted CIS and Trans males.
The image in our current logo is illustrated by Florida-based artist Chris Lopez, titled ‘Stache’. The first time we saw ‘Stache’ we knew it could make an awesome addition to the long line of classic Laird logos.
Check out Chris’ work at lopezgallery.com and you’ll soon see why we are stoked that Chris allowed us to add one of his works to Laird history.

I love the art graphics on the tees but not a fan of the classic t shirt fabric - much prefer the tri blend t shirts
