Artist's Description

Daily I drive past this bridge, but never have I stopped to photograph it, although often I’ve wanted to. Presently it is the focal point of a park, but originally was built in 1745 as part of the driveway to the Belair Mansion, the Georgian plantation home of the Provincial Governor of Maryland, Samuel Ogle.

Today was extremely overcast, so I boosted the saturation and contrast a little.
