This photo of Towan Head, which is just off the world famous Fistral Beach in the South of England, was taken on a beautiful spring day last year.
I loved the way the clouds moved that day and therefore captured as much of the sky as possible.

Ken Langmaid a Newquay-born resident wrote about Towan Head:
“Newquay’s chief headland and most interesting physical feature. It projects in a northwesterly direction giving protection to the harbour and bay and providing a magnificent open space for the walker. Towan Head reveals its charms mainly to the explorer on foot. The high ground near the Atlantic Hotel is known as the Beacon.”
