Not to be outdone by some of the beautiful animals who have had their photos posted here on RB by their pets (yes you did read that correctly), allow me to introduce the funniest bunny on the planet – Taz. Taz is my five year old, supposed-to-be-a-Lionhead, but he didn’t quite work out properly. People often ask what the heck he is, and who can blame them, but he is the smartest and most loving housebunny anyone could wish for. His fur grows rapidly and continuously so I have to give him a “hare-cut” every few weeks so he can actually see his beautiful girlfriend bunny, Savanna. Taz’s hobbies are imitating a Tribble, mugging me for all the treats he can get and caravanning. Yes indeed, when we go away with the caravan for weekends in Merrie Olde England, the bunnies come too – they have their own bun-run which we place on the grass so they can get a taste of the local bunny fare! N.B. The wild bunnies, which are commonly found on such campsites, tend to treat them with disdain! I can’t imagine why! ;o)
Savanna, the girlfriend.

Taz is such a poser in this photo…. loved your description Krys. He sure is a cutie, and I know how much you spoil and love him…. lucky bunny.
Thanks Kimmie! Isn’t he just…. er…. fluffy???? ;o) We had a crisis today – I ran out of Lofty’s – their favourite treat! I went out and bought 4 new boxes of them……….. peace reigns……….
Very cute, and great light and detail.
Very fluffy….. almost due for a hare-cut. =)
Actually, yes, you’re right. I just need Nick to be available to put Taz in a half-nelson and then I can get the scissors out! Actually, he’s very good – Taz that is, not Nick, no definitely not Nick………. hope he doesn’t read this – Nick I mean, not Taz. Not that Taz doesn’t read … he IS very intelligent…..probably can spell better than Nick…….. OK, ramble over……………………………………. :o)
Taz is adorable Krys; I have not seen another like him……….I am sure his disposition matches his wonderful appearance….awesome image…and I love your description…I am delighted that you take the bunnies with!!!
Thanks Joyce! It is such fun to take the bunnies camping! They attract a lot of interest. One person commented about Taz that they didn’t normally like animals, but they liked him! I think that was a compliment! ;o)
He is about the cutest thing I have ever seen!! He looks like he has a great personality. I used to have 2 dwarf lops. Bunnies make the best pets. They would play with my cats. It was hilarious to watch. I love Taz’ color also. Great shot!!
Thank you, dear bunny-lover! I had lops before Taz but they didn’t survive for more than a couple of years, and it broke my heart. You are right they make the best pets! We used to have a cat too and she adopted Taz as one of her own! I held Taz first of all when he was 3 weeks old – fitted into the palm of my hand. Had to have him! ;o)
He is the most wonderful Lionhead I have ever seen, he is glorious.!!!!!! Wonderful capture of a wonderful bunny. hugs
Thanks Hilary. Do I make a good hare-stylist? ;o)

Yeah I am drinking – cider actually, but I’m always whacky even when I’m not drinking! Is there a problem? ;o)
None what so ever. =)
