dormant movement

Between cloud and ocean
Fingers and arms spread
Wearing a body of skin and wind
Flying.

Gushing air over nudity
Penetrating unscathed oxygen
Inhaling virgin space
Soaring.

Sorry, what was that?
Excuse me, I was dreaming
While the world was screaming
I felt exposed and free.

Sleying foes from beyond the abyss
Saving the queen, leave her begging for a kiss
Drawing in the power of mind control
Just to smite those who have wronged me.

This is a cartoon, and we cannot die
Where does all the cut hair go?
Our DNA in a bag, in a dump
Waiting to be made into an eagles nest.

Pardon?
My apologies, I was elsewhere
Head in the clouds
Wondering and wandering.

Wired with an existing fault
It not my fault
Its how Ive been wired
This down to earth man is a down to earth boy.

Drift in and out
Of reality and instinct
Just to escape
What they want me to think.

Vaguely precise
Probably correct
Maybe yes
Guessing exact.
