Artist's Description

“As the day began to meet its end
I felt a warm breeze envelope me,
and a second Sun emerged.
Above the city in a haze of light
it spread it arms so seductively
and destructively gave into its urge.
There would be no more panic
as the calm shell of absolution grew
while the air lost its taste so stale.
All life ripped away before its last breathe
in this instance is when I knew
Only ashes are left in this hell.”
-Me…before I ended.

Although it’s hard to tell, at first glance, the city behind the park bench and tree, lies in ruins. I have intentionally destroyed the city to build a stark contrast to the beauty and serenity of a simple park setting. All 3D and all done by me. I don’t know why, but I tend to be intrigued by destruction. I don’t exactly know what inspires me to create images of it, but I think it stems from various bouts of occasional depression…just my thought on it anyway.
