This is the Hammer Lake, practically dividing the rocky formation known as “The Hammer” from the rest of the Danish island of Bornholm.
This particular bridge is a well-known and usually crowded picnic resort during summer.
During winter it is usually deserted because of the cold winds blowing from the sea along the lake.
