An Author that's Worth a Read

I love going into used bookstores and buying stacks of used paperbacks. Not only are they super fun to read but they smell fantastic. On one of my more recent obssesive book buys I bought a good many books by Robert Silverberg. I don’t know how this writers books have flown under my radar undetected for this long but it’s a crying shame he did. He wrote this book called ‘Book of Skulls’ that uses a four main characters with each having first person narratives as the chapters format. It was structurally one of the most interesting books I’ve read. That four different first person views was a brilliant way to present the story and the perfect blending of both first and third person story telling. In my opinion, he comes in a close second to Ray Bradburry as the greatest science fiction writers of all time.
