The beautiful “Quadracci Pavilion” (The Milwaukee Art Museum) is 142,050 square feet.
Is a graceful sculptural, postmodern addition designed by Spanish architect Santiago calatrava.
Highlights of the building are the magnificent cathedral-like space of “Windhover Hall” with a vaulted 90’ high glass ceiling; the “Burke Brise Soleil” a movable sunscreen with a 217 foot wingspan that unfolds and folds twice daily, and the "Reiman Bridge; a pedestrian suspension bridge that connects the museum to the city of Milwaukee.
The structure incorporates cutting-edge technology and old world craftsmanship. The city of Milwaukee has a strong craft tradition.
If you are ever in the Milwaukee Wisconsin area, this is a must see. It is located right on beautiful Lake Michigan. A most magnificent area.

I’m dedicating this one to my son Brent, who took me to this beautiful place yesterday!
