Artist's Description

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado

I have always found the textures of Autumn interesting and this Fall I made sure that I took some time for awhile to study the more intimate details in my subject matter. The reason that areas are black, is where the Elk have been eating the bark off the trees, which as well can make for some interesting patterns.

Shot on my Sony a550 using a Minolta 18-200DT lens and a Fotodiox CPL.

I thought this one would make a nice large sized print.

I hope you all like it

John
