How to Add Framed Work to Your Photo Page

I was asked by another good friend to set out how I add framed work to my photo pages. This is a step by step guide of how it works for me:-

Firsly Sign in to Redbubble and onto your My Bubble Page.

Click on the ‘Art’ box on the second line down (it will be the 4th box from the left)

This should bring up the ‘My Art’ page, with a list of thumbnails (little pictures) of all the photographs you have on Redbubble.

Click on ‘Show public view’

When your photo page comes up – Click on the ‘Buy/Preview’ box at the right hand side.

This takes you into the ‘Buy’ Page that displays all the different products you can purchase with your photograph on.

Click on ‘Laminated Print’

Select the colour frame you prefer – either white or black – it will now show the example on this page.

Put your cursor onto the picture itself – now Right Click with your mouse whilst still on the photo.

A list of of things appears – go down to the bottom of the list and Click on the one that says ‘Properties’.

Another small box will appear called ‘Element Properties’ – near the top of this list is the word ’ Location’.

Next to this is a line of text that starts with ‘http:// etc.’

Put your cursor at the start of the text ‘http’ – hold down the left mouse button and drag the cursor along the line of text to the end (finishes with ‘.jpg’)

The line of text should now be highlighted in blue.

Put your cursor on the blue highlighted line and Right Click with the mouse button.

Another list appears – Click on ‘Copy’

You now need to go back to the ‘My Art’ Page – so Click on ‘My Bubble’ from line at top of the ‘Buy’ Page.

Click on the ‘Art’ box on the second row – 4th box along. List of your photographs comes up again.

This time – Click on the ‘Edit’ box next to the photograph you wish to add the framed work to.

This is the page that you use to add your work to Redbubble – it will have your photo on, the Title etc.

Go down to the ‘Description’ box.

Put your cursor at the beginning of the first blank line below your typed in description.
(If you have no description – put your cursor at the top of the empty box).

Now Right Click your mouse – another list appears – Click on ‘Paste’. That long line of text should appear that starts with ‘http:// and ends with .jpg’

This is the important bit – without this the framed work will not appear.

At the very start of the text – right before the ‘http://’ you need to add an exclamation mark ! Also at the very end – right after the ‘.jpg’ you need to add another exclamation mark !

Your line of text should now look similar to this (but with your picture details instead of mine):-

mall/view:preview/781747-1-jasper-cat-loves-mum-too.jpg!

Go down to the bottom of the page – Click on ‘Save Changes’

Now Click on ‘Show public view of this work’ and your framed masterpiece should show up at the right hand side under your description.

(You can select any of the product examples to display on your art work page – i.e. card, framed print – just use the same process but pick the product of your choice from the list instead of laminated print – I chose this one as it displays both the title of the work and your name at the bottom).

I hope this helps! x

Again – if anyone would like to add or correct anything I have written – please feel free -as you know I am only a newbie myself and appreciate all the help I can get! xxx
