Apologies to my RB Friends

I feel I must apologise for failing to comment on some of your recent wonderful works my friends!

I have fallen behind this weekend with perusing all your artworks – mainly due to a high demand for my vintage caravan restoration skills! Namely gloss painting, varnishing and soft furnishing – not to mention holding bits in place whilst nails and screws are applied !!!

We are trying very hard to complete work on our little 1925 Angela Caravan in time for the Barnard Castle Steam Fair which takes place this coming Bank Holiday weekend. A lot of friends are looking forward to seeing her there – so no pressure!!!

At the moment we are ‘on the cusp’ so to speak – it is a bit touch-and-go as to whether we will complete her in time – but we are doing as much as we can – and also trying to keep things in perspective and remind ourselves that it is a hobby after all!!! lol !!!

Over the coming week I will try and drop in as much as I can – please don’t feel that I am neglecting you. I know there is no compulsory commenting required – but truth is – I love to look and let you know how much your words and images mean to me – you inspire and delight me in equal measures.

I did sneek off for an hour this morning (and of course I am here now!) – only whilst my paint was drying – lol. It was such a fabulous morning – and I wanted to share it with you. I very much hope you enjoy the images – and thank you for all the kind and encouraging comments you make on my work – both past and present – it means a great deal to me! xxx

Will be back with a vengence soon – and will try to catch up with you all!!! xxx
Take care,
P.S. – Attaching a photo of the ‘Petite Retreat’ – taken in our farm fields with the little grey Ferguson tractor – to celebrate my birthday – August 2007.
