Artist's Description

The Ranch House – is a sepia tone photographic wall art print of a log ranch house.

The setting is the Sharlot Hall Museum in Prescott, Arizona. This restored ranch house is located on the grounds of the museum and is one of the original structures in Prescott.

I used a sepia tone finish on the photograph for that old rustic look. The sepia brown tones originated with film photography as part of the process to develop the prints in the 1800’s. Today, we can recreate that same vintage look digitally. This type of wall art print lends itself to a rustic or old vintage type of interior decoration. Even with that said, I have seen this style used in more modern décor that had earth tone elements to it. The way a print is matted and framed can change the entire look of the print.
