"THE ARTIST AS ALCHEMIST IN FRAGILE REMAINS"

Above the stars gaze astronomy
Invisible to the eyes down below

The dust settles after your second breath
After your second kill

All ravens smell blood
As all know
All ravens pick at a martyr’s bones

Moonlight towards day
The dominance of horse shoes
Clanking
As they pull an old train towards rain

What dignity they all hide
Under gray skins of burden

So imaginary in its eloquence
Fresh kill no more

Shadows after sunshine and sadness
The translated death of the beast
Should intersect in life’s epic

This perhaps is another world
This perhaps is another law of syntax

So we all go
To a darker presence

The use of well greased guns
The sound of lightning shots
The smell of powdered flesh

Is this
The conversation between species?

End
