In spite of its name the Russian Sage is indigenous to Afghanistan and Pakistan; it is “Russian” only for short-sighted Westerners who from the West are unable to see farther than Russia.
Hardy and cold tolerant but requires full sun, tolerates chalky soils with a high pH, high salt content and drought.
