Floating as if on the Seas- Excerpt from 'Thoughts of a Mortal Man'

Senses… floating as if on the seas – or in them. Dark, deep black; as if such color truly exists in places. Blending sounds, echoing in such timeless night that now find I encompassing all that is within, yet without me…
Pressures now upon me; first barely noticed – then, as if in a bursting dam do I ride from the warm, wet and dark again to the blinding brilliance… so much as if in a dream… had I not just but left in the same fires of Hell? Yet now so rudely does the spirit return to the physical plane- abrupt in its nature, this thing birth. Vision, as though in fog; yet still too, faces and voices of the one, now three, and of the seven billion: Knowing them all as myself- having touched them all in my place of silent slumber. All were of me, and I, as of them- then so abruptly, now again alone…
