What folly in this Creature

What folly in this creature, man. Seeks to be united yet constantly divides. Preaches peace yet prepares for war. Hypocrisies abound in humanity. Is it merely in the ignorance of ourselves; of our sentient beings or is it the animal drive that seeks chaos and destruction? Have our souls become corrupted by the body? Is not the angelic spirit that lies within each and every man is the Supreme Being within their own universe? How readily they forget, these creatures of flesh, that they all come for one creation and the creator responds no matter what name given for there is only one creator. Buddhists and Hindus have the spiritual aspect down – understanding that they all come from the center.
They come from the one; aren’t we all just a part of the whole? How readily have we forgotten the lessons of the teachers each and every time. From a free-based spiritual existence into an Orthodox Church; confined religious dogmas. For instance, are not Judaism, Christianity and Islam not all products of the very same thing? Do they all not flow from a beginning traceable to Abraham? Who, in turn, carried forward the teachings before him? Not Abraham’s sons Isaac, Jacob and Ishmael; yet still too we have ignorance. Fighting over what to call God, yet sharing the very same one. Arguing over what day should be a holy day. Pick one. The body and the spirit both rest. Keep this day holy to yourself; keep that routine: that consistency. Mankind strays from all the lessons. Muhammad spoke so very highly of Christ; yet to hear modern day Islam fighting amongst themselves- let alone everyone else, makes no sense. If Muhammad truly believed in Christ’s teachings, he would believe in peace and tolerance. But so too, would our Christian brothers do the same. That hypocrisy that exists in these organized religions is atrocious. These are some of the things that need be addressed with religion, as with government. The organizations are based one upon another; but they are not the same, nor should they be. Government and religion need to be kept separate. They are mirror images, one of the other.
Were liberty and justice for all but a dream? We are to hold these truths to be self-evident- all men are created equal. Do the words of Jefferson and Lincoln mean nothing to us? As of late, I question the direction my government is going; in my world’ in my name: no differently than I am sure Christ would be questioning the religious fanatics and the things they do in his name. Crusades to bring people Christianity. Religion is a matter of choice. God gave us all free will. Our constitution gives American citizens free will and free choice. We work as a nation of laws and rules; only because we need them. Yet when we face a threat, some among you say ‘relinquish your liberties it’ will make it easier for us to protect you’. This is somehow hypocritical. If the goal of terrorism is to change the American way of life, then by relinquishing our liberties, they have won. Of what sense of logic does such action make; first, last and foremost in our constitution, exist checks and balances. The constitution is not a living document; it was set as an anchor- set in stone. A guidepost on which our nation and Lady Liberty to lean, and as of late, my lady looks more as a prostitute standing on a street corner than she does the guardian of freedom. And Justice, no less with her blindfold removed, stands naked and abused in the corner. How could we reduce these two lovely ladies; the foundation of our nation, to such a sham?
We, in this great nation need now, more than ever, see through the facades of partisanship and division than has led to the true moral decay within us. Be not you cognizant of all things; as we are all of the very same spirit.
