Artist's Description

500 views at April 5, 2014.

Mount Hyperion is part of the Ducane Range in the Cradle Mountain – Lake St. Clair National Park in Tasmania, Australia.

To the left of centre are the headwaters of the Wallace River, a tributary of the wild and remote Murchison River.

The mountain on the left horizon (with a peak at each end) is the seldom visited Perrins Bluff. The small peak to the right of it is Mount Achilles. Next in line (with a bit of sun on it) is Mount Thetis. In the distance to the right of Mount Thetis is Mount Pelion East, and the high mountain to the right of it (with sun on it) is Mount Ossa which at 1617 metres is the highest in Tasmania.
