I grew up in the Philadelphia suburbs and graduated from Bucks County Community College with a degree in Computer Networking Technology. I currently work as Office Manager & Network Administrator for a landscaping company.

With my college education and career following the “computer nerd” path, I turned to photography as a creative outlet. I dipped my toes into the photography world in 2006 by taking a nature/photography class with photographer Leo Heppner and environmentalist Bob Chance (former ‘Ranger Bob’ on Romper Room), and was immediately hooked. Since then I have enrolled in Bucks County Community College’s Applied Photography program, and have taken a variety of digital photography, film photography, studio lighting, and Photoshop classes.

My work has been featured on several websites including Schmap.com, NowPublic.com, GeoTimes.org and RollingStone.com, and has been published in the Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission’s 2008 weekly planner, in a February 2009 edition of the Intelligencer newspaper, and in the Photographer’s Forum magazine’s 2010 Best of College Photography book. I was the Langhorne Coffee House’s “Artist on the Avenue” for August & September 2010.

I live in southeastern PA with my husband Mike of 11 years and our 6 cats – Samson, Cassidy, ChinaCat, Terrapin, Mr Charlie, and Althea. In my free time I enjoy camping, hiking and going to concerts. My biggest passion is traveling, which goes hand-in-hand with my love of photography. In addition to extensive traveling within the continental US, I have also gone to Alaska, Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, St. Lucia, Costa Rica, Holland, Germany and Belgium. One of my goals in life is to visit, and photograph, every continent.
