About Joanne (Me):
I never know what to write in these things. How do you distill a life into a few words? I create these things because I like to, because it settles something in my ever turbulent brain.

Like everyone else, I am both complicated and simple. I dream of seeing faraway places, but often stepping out my front door requires conquering fears I don’t understand. I want friends, but meeting new people is hard and trusting people is difficult. I trudge on, trying to make tomorrow a better day.

Photography – I like to walk and look for interesting things and colorful flowers.
Illustration – I go through phases when I’m fascinated by certain subjects.
Words & Quotes – Sometimes they inspire me, and sometimes they comfort me.
Miscellaneous – Some things don’t fall into easy categories, and sometimes I just think something is funny.
