My hobbies are photography, trekking, cycling and classical music. During the film days I used a Mamiya C330f and Nikons for 35 mm film and printed with my Durst M805 Enlarger. I loved this machine but had to part from it during my last move to Australia. After about a decade of break from photography I started the digital with the Pentax system. The lenses I use most frequently are Sigma 10-20, Pentax 16-45/f4, 50/1.4, 35/2 and 10-17 fisheye.
I work as an associate professor in engineering and teach physics, materials science, statics, dynamics and stress analysis. My research interests are conductive polymers, sensors and functional textiles.
