Emperor Tamarin Monkey (Genus: Saguinus) at the Como Zoo in St. Paul, Minnesota. Laughing is my interpretation… he was making noise of some kind! …Maybe he was saying he wouldn’t sign a model release…..?

The Emperor Tamarin Monkey (Saguinus imperator) lives in the southwest Amazon Basin, in east Peru, north Bolivia and in the west Brazilian states of Acre and Amazonas. It reaches a length of 24 to 26 centimetres and has a 35 centimetre long tail. It weighs around 300 to 400 grams. The Emperor Tamarin Monkey inhabits tropical rainforests, living deep in the forest and also in open tree-covered areas, and is a diurnal monkey, spending most of its days in the trees.
