The Less I forget...

Lest the full moon consume me, I shall gaze upon a new world with static breath…
Freedom from myself created this new flesh, created it from my burned shell…
Ashen moon of my people I’ve prayed, cried, beckoned, and stole…
The radiant light drives me to higher being, conscience of this false form…
Thoughts dwell on one, and the other, both in the same place as each other…
Emotion flowing like a river, slowly, steadily, forever wearing down the earth and creating great scars…
Inspiration ebbing out through what is left of my corpse, forever the undead…
The consequence of what I’ve become not fully realized, the eye sees only a myriad of color…
Color not seen since I was born, new, and with in my cyclic rebirth…
My vermilion runs hot, and can only be quenched by her cool azure soul…
A new world I will see, a new man I’ve awoken, a new death I’ve chosen for you all…

The Less I forget...
