Artist's Description

The Ox-eye Daisy (also called Common Daisy, Dog Daisy & Moon Daisy) is not native to North America. It was introduced to the continent by European settlers and has since naturalized. These daisies bloom from June through to September. They prefer full sun and can grow in a variety of soils. It is quite common here in New Brunswick to find them growing in sandy or rocky soil along roadways, ditches and in old cow pastures. Passekeag, New Brunswick, Canada. Captured on a Canon EOS Rebel T3i with an EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS II lens
