Artist's Description

Kildalton Church (probably late 12th century) is well worth a visit on the beautiful inner Hebridean island of Islay. It is home to the beautiful Kildalton Cross dating back to about 8th century AD.

A Historic Scotland site.

Location: approx. 10 km from Port Ellen in the direction of Ardtalla, between the road and the sea on the beautiful Isle of Islay, Argyll & Bute, Scotland, UK.

Nikon D200, Sigma 18-200mm. Captured in RAW. Post-pro adjustsments in CS4.
