Artist's Description

This bee worked to an invisible plan and visited several flowers one after the other, carefully collecting as much nectar as possible.
Bees are quite amazing for our whole natural environment.

I originally bought these flowers Silver Ragwort – Jacobaea maritima for my balcony a year ago as an “autumn leaf accompaniment” to some flowering plants which have long disappeared. The plant – which I pretty much ignored – not only survived the winter but has produced countless tiny flowers which are a big favourite with the bees. The flowers are usually less than 2 cm or an inch in diameter. Sometimes the bees are bigger!

Dedicated to my two friends who I gave similar plants to (I had three but not enough space) and who are enjoying them now too.

Location: My balcony, Munich, Germany.
Nikon D7200, Sigma 50 macro lens. Hand-held.

6 Features – thank you to the hosts!
Today I’m thankful for.., We Sell Art, The Wonder of Wings, The Power of Photography, Art for Sale, Absolute Clarity and ★ART UNIVERSE★
