Close-up of the chili plant on my balcony: a dainty flower (1 cm/0,5 in diameter) which could develop into such a young chili pepper that still has to mature.
I got this plant from a colleague who planted seeds early this year. It took a while for the first peppers to develop from the flowers but there are now six. I’m hoping I can harvest them before the winter comes.
I think it belongs to the genus Capiscum annuum

They are “hot stuff!” Excellent work and so lovely, Kasia!
Hey, Linda, thank you:-) I’ll pass that on in the hope that they do actually develop into edible chilies. I’m afraid it is too cool and late in the season here – snow is expected soon.
great work!
Thank you very much!

Nadine, thank you:-) I hope they might still develop into edible chilies. I’m afraid it is too cool and late in the season here – snow is expected soon.

Hey, Chas, thank you!!
Gorgeous capture. Love those little sweeties.
Bunny, thank you so much – I’m afraid it is too cool and late in the season here for them to become edible – snow is expected soon. They may stay just like my shot. But I’ll try again next year.
Great colours, lovely image and I like the title
