Hyde St. Pier is part of the San Francisco Maritime National Historic Park. Until the bridges were built the car ferries left here as part of US 1.
It is just a few minutes walk from the end of the Powell-Hyde cable car and well worth a visit, take time to go on board a few of the exhibits and chat to the enthusiastic staff and volunteers! Try out one of the many eateries for clams, chowder and Co. afterwards.
Location: Hyde St. Pier, Fisherman’s Wharf, San Francisco, California, USA.
