I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone

I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone.
I hear my voice in a string of echoes.
I live by seeing what isn’t shown.

We sink in silence. Who can hear the drone?
I see the sheep flocking from here to there.
I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone.

Of billions in the world, where are you?
Freedom isn’t free! I will continue on,
and live by seeing what isn’t shown.

People kill innocents, but what is known?
The lonesome baby cries for its mother;
I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone.

The President has a different agenda
for him and his friends; so show him you care,
and, live by seeing what isn’t shown.

My knowledge holds me up. I am no clone.
The truth never lies. Not ever.
I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone.
I live by seeing what isn’t shown.

I sleep to dream, and take my dreams alone
