The Friendship Rose I by Karin Taylor.
Drawing on Paper
Photographed and painted digitally in Procreate for iPad with stylus
Textures used are two of my own photographs of damaged antiqued paper
I drew the rose a long time ago and only just got around to painting it. Named The Friendship Rose, because of the multicoloured petals, which represent people of all colour, race, religion etc
I dreamt it would be nice if one had a pin we could wear to promote peace between all individuals. I guess it would let you know that people wearing a pin like this in the street, were friendly and approachable. Just daydreaming again….lol
There are two versions of The Friendship Rose, this one and the original, which has more blue-ish tones and less texture. To view or order The Friendship Rose II prints and cards please click here
