NEW inspire create on FB with artist karin taylor

I am an artist and I have a dream, to help people become more creative, especially those who doubt themselves. As a way of building on the foundations of my dream and an extension of my recent book Beyond the Stick Figure Help and Encouragement for anyone who has ever wanted to be creative I want to reach out, as I realised that a lot of people struggle with inspiration and imagination and daydreams. As inspiration, imagination and daydreams are important in finding the way forward to creative self expression, I wanted to provide a place, a sanctuary, where you can come to be restored, find a stream of inspirational flow and learn how to daydream and use your imagination again, like you did as a child. It might sound a bit airy fairy, however, it really does wonders to stimulate the desire for creativity and self expression.

I will share here through my Inspire Create Facebook page, as many inspirational ideas to stimulate your imagination asI can possibly think of and help you cultivate your daydreams as well as little creative tasks to try. These shouldn’t take up much of your time, you can really spend as little or as much time as you like!! Its just getting you accustomed more to spending a few mins whenever you can, to be immersed or involved in creative play. That is what’s so wonderfully freeing about art. The tasks will not just be drawing, but writing, thinking, drawing from thoughts, sometimes collecting, sometimes taking a photo or something as simple as smelling herbs in your pantry. We can use all the senses to stimulate our creativity.

This method works, how do I know? Because it’s what I do every day, every minute, and so I want to share that something precious with you because it’s tried and true and something I believe in. I hope to share daily inspirational ideas and creative projects and little exercises for you to participate in and share with each other (only if you’d like to, that’s up to you). This gives you a couple of options. It’s up to you how much or how little you do, and of course its all free. From my heart to yours. You can try something new each day/each week to stimulate your creative pulse, or you can visit and randomly do any of these exercise any time you like. There is no need to be formal or to post pictures and poems and writing, however I would absolutely want to encourage each and every one of you to so, particularly once you are less shy and more confident, as it’s fun to share and helps everyone to feel more inspired, including me!!! Oh and don’t feel shy about inviting friends to join in the fun!

Before you know it, you will automatically be coming up with your own inspiring ideas and may even want to share them with us here, I would love to walk beside you, encouraging you in your creative progression.

And finally remember this: I believe in you and your ability to shine as a creative soul! I look forward to sharing my inspiration and watching you develop as we embark on this new creative journey.
