The Launceston Steam Railway links the historic Cornish town with the hamlet of Newmills, running for two and a half miles along the glorious Kensey Valley along the trackbed of the old North Cornwall Railway, where once express trains from London Waterloo thundered along. We run narrow gauge (1′ 11½” gauge) steam trains and passengers have a choice of open or closed carriages – whichever you choose you are assured of a marvellous view! A seat in the front of the train is as good as being on the footplat. All our trains are steam hauled by one of our four Victorian steam locomotives. Our youngest locomotive, 115 year old ‘Dorothea‘, has recently undergone a 20 year restoration from scrap condition in our fully equipped workshops here at Launceston. Launceston Station is home to our fascinating Transport and Engineering Museum, with a range of items from the days when British engineering was the envy of the world.(information: Canon EOS Rebel Canon EOS Rebel and converted to sepia

A perfectly ok shirt

by Georgina P. on Aug 22, 2018

This is differently sized from the normal women's t-shirt - I'm fine in a medium in the latter, but had to get small in the Premium one (I'm UK size 10). I can't remember what makes this premium; it's a nice material but pretty standard for a t-shirt. The shape is weird, though, the cuts up the sides are a bit strange. It's very long, too - I like long as I wear low trousers, but this is longer than I'm comfortable with. Reckon I'll stick with the regular shirts in future, though this type is ok.

Perfect fit!
