Seasons

Dropping ever so gently one by one
Beautiful colors of red, orange and brown
Sultry summer days at long last are done
As leaves of all sizes fall to the ground
Autumn comes softly on a light, cool breeze
Tiny misting raindrops moisten the ground
Gray fog hangs thickly obscuring the trees
As their lovely foilage falls all around
All the bright colors will soon disappear
The tall lonely trees will all soon be bare
Winter’s cold blanket will shortly be here
As fluffy white snowflakes fill the air
All sleeping seeds about to awaken
Away by the sun, the snow is taken
