Coming Soon

Well, I’ve finally been out taking some new pictures. Fall has arrived and the trees are changing.

I took a vacation day from work on Friday and took a trip to Fall Creek Gorge in Attica Indiana. I had hear about this place, but had never visited. It is a small Nature Conservation area (the parking lot only provides parking for 6-8 cars) in Indiana located along Fall Creek and passes through sandstone cliffs.

The action of the water along the narrow bed has cut deeply into the cliffs and has created numerous small basins called the Potholes. These potholes range from about a 1 foot wide to as much as 6 feet wide and have depths of 4 – 5 feet.

At the end of the pothole section the river bed levels out where you can walk upstream to a small waterfall.

I’ll be uploading pictures soon…
