Julie Lebrun, a young artist to whom freedom, spontaneity and making choices based on her intuition are paramount. She has found the space to dedicate her time to her painting.

Born and raised in Quebec, Julie surrounded herself with the nature and beauty of the banks of the St Lawrence River. An ever curious individual, she travels to experience and absorb other cultures and ways of living. Because of her immersion into different communities, she now speaks three languages.

Inspiration has ensured that her paintings are colourful and evoke passion. Julie tries to keep in tune with her five senses and her emotions as she encounters new peoples, flavours and places.

Graduating in graphic design from the Cégep de Rivière-du-Loup and in Jewellery making from l’École de Joaillerie de Montréal, Julie continued to fulfil her curiosity, with a photography course in Montréal at Dawson College. After working alone for a few years, she recently attended a one-year course run by established artists from many different artistic movements. Julie realise that her core work now has new inspiration from this enriching formation. She breathes art and incorporates it into her life.

Where would an artist be without business acumen? Julie gained a business certificate as a necessary tool to make her dreams a reality.

Julie is forever committed to her respect for environment and she never misses an opportunity to convince others of this. She lives in voluntary simplicity: believing the most important thing is nourishment of the soul and heart. Her passion for nature is expressed in her simple and enthusiastic paintings, predominantly landscapes sourced from dreams evoking memories and emotions.

Favouring acrylic due to it’s practicality! Julie is very organised, focused and pro active in every area of her life. Needing more than a lifetime to get to do everything she dreams of!

Julie is a kind person, thoughtful, busy, who enjoys life and all this is more than apparent in her Artwork! ☺
