Problems With Red Bubble

Sorry everyone for the lack of images being posted but for some reason which I don’t understand Red Bubble isn’t allowing me to upload any images at this time.
If anyone has had this problem and can tell me how to fix it I would more then appreciate your help.

Ron - Sundawg7

Sundawg7 was a friend to many of us here on Redbubble and will be greatly missed I’m sure. I was lucky enough to be able to go out shooting with him a few times and to enjoy his presentation at a local photography club. His love for photography stemmed over many years. He always had encouraging words for everyone.…

Just received this e-mail informing me of Ron’s passing. Ron:

Hi Julie,

I wanted to let you know that my dad passed away yesterday morning, peacefully, just two days before his 68th birthday. Here is the link to his obituary:

He was very brave and held on as long as he could during his illness. He was an amazing father to my sister and

With Great Sadness

It is with great sadness I write this posting to inform those who are friends with Ron aka. Sundawg7 that his fight with cancer is coming to an end. Ron will be a great loss to our Red Bubble community and all his friends. He always had kind words for everyone and loved to share his images for all to enjoy. As we lived not too far from one another we were able to go on photo shoots together and enjoy a few good laughs.…

I have had contact on the phone with him since the onset and he always had hope and tried to stay positive. This week I received an e-mail from his daughter and he has given permission for me to share the news he has received from the doctor. At the moment he is in the hospital and the doctors and family will be meeting to decide what coarse of care will be followed to

Photographer of The Month

A heartfelt “Thank You” to Wolfgang for this honor of “June Photographer of The Month” in the This, That, and the Other Thing (2 per day and Photography Only) group and to all my follow photographers for your kind words.

Usually I am not at loss for words but yesterday I was speechless and over whelmed to know that my peers enjoy my work so much. I have appreciated all your support over the years. So once again my friends “THANK YOU” .

Never Did I Think - Long Over Due

Yes! that’s right, I never thought when I started down this path of photography that I would become one of those people who walks around with more then one camera and a bag full of various lens’. I used to think to myself that they just wanted to show off what they had and the fact they could afford it. As I don’t want others getting the wrong idea about me I usually keep my other gear stored neatly in my camera bag (bought a smaller one so I don’t stand out).…

My journey started back in 2004 with my first little point and shoot camera, a Fuji FinePix 5000s to take along on a trip to Italy. It was my husband who thought I needed a better camera and then he encouraged me to move on to another, the Canon PowerShot SX1 IS. Each step of the way he has been there nudging me along with newe

The Gremlins Are At It

Well I’ve never felt the need to complain about my RB page but I think the Gremlins have been let loose tonight. Everything is centered on the page and so small I can barely read it.

Is anyone else having the same problem. I’m really trying to hang in here everyone but this is starting to get to me (I hate wearing my reading glasses).

Well I now know first hand what all the commotion is all about. I was so agitated by the time I had my last image posted I almost didn’t finish posting it into the Groups or Folders. Then after all was said and done I think the image isn’t the same quality as before. I will continue to post my work on RB for all my friends to view but will not be posting in any of the groups until RB decides to if they’re going to make changes to better their site. I have always appreciated everyone’s comments and value your feedback, as this is how I have learned over the years if I was doing this photograph thing the right way. If anything your friendship has been a gift over the years.…

I'm Still Here

Does it really pay to take a holiday away from the computer?

I’m so far behind in my correspondence but a vacation was due to clear my mind of all the everyday chaos around me. Unfortunately the e-mails kept piling up and I’ve fallen further behind in my RedBubble messages. Once again I apologize for being as slow as a snail on a rainy day

The good thing about my vacation was that I did manage to get some pretty awesome shots while traveling around Switzerland and Northern Italy, and hope to share some with you soon.

So Far Behind

Sorry everyone for not getting back to you with my replies for all your kind comments and feature notifications. Lately there just doesn’t seem to be even hours in the day to stay on top of things.…

I decided to join another camera club this Fall and have been busy with double the competitions and presentations along with working with a group of club members who are putting together a gallery presentation to be exhibited in March at our local library.

With the winter temperatures well below zero I have been spending time trying to learn new things such as TOPAZ – Impression & Glow (two plug-ins which allow you to enhance your images with more of an artistic look) and image stacking to be used when doing MACRO images. The learning curve can be a little trying at times but I’m sure the end

*Blue Screen of Death*

In my last post I mentioned having computer problems, well I thought I had things under control…On Wednesday I had had enough after five Blue Screen of Death shutdowns – this girl can only take so much….So I took myself off to the lavender fields to calm myself and collect my thoughts – also a good photo-op opportunity….It was clear that there was only one thing to do – yes time to go shopping…..Now don’t get my wrong I like new things, just don’t like going shopping….As you must have guessed by now I am now the owner of a new black box (computer)….With all good things there are drawbacks; now have to learn my way around Windows 8.1 and reset all my programs so please have patience with me and I’ll get to all your much appreciated comments.…

Images from my lavender field photo-op will soon
