Artist's Description

As I’ve stated before,(had two accounts, password mix-up…?) this is my
Moms, she was definately the light of my life and an inspiration to this day!
(wipe my tears…) Words can’t express the Love we had for her,nor contain
the story. As for me personally, when I got licks my first day of jr.hi school, let me re-iterate,I wasn’t in the school for 30 secs.,when I was attacked by a
gang of girls,of all nationalities (one of the most beautiful universal experie-nces,in my life, right?….no) I got snatched up by some assistant principle
and was given licks for that? Moms was on it.When he began popping off
with his sarcastic (red-neck) tone,I saw her put her hand in her purse and
I was scared,on the way out I asked her what was she doing she said,I
would have shot him,I don’t know if she meant it or not,but I didn’t want to
find out!The next year, when I got food poisoning at school (the only child
that did…huh? I told her to sue,she said no(?) I ended up with vitiligo and
the girls didn’t think I was so hot anymore,Moms was there to talk to me,
and everything was alright again,by that next year I had one of the hottest
girls in school, and I had learned how to play basket ball! I would have nev-
er known I got those skills from her! She was a Tx. All- star!? She was also
the most intelligent female I ever met in my life.Which is the first thing my big brother said when I asked him about her! Her dream was for us kids to go
on to college or some form of stardom, but she never doted on us,our pare-
believed you had to earn what you want, which kinda keeps you grounded.
So out of respect for them, I would like to apologize to any one who has
takev me to heart. I was never a player(too much trouble) I was a sad kid,
and humble.but they didn’t raise us with any rose coloured glasses,or
let us grow up foul, they did well, considering. And I commend them for
that.So I still “…watch as well as pray.” Now I’m going to put Hazel Ann
away, and I’ll draw her no more, shoot,I cried every day as I drew these pic-
tures of Her and Dad,I hadn’t seen them in so long and I forgot how much
I loved and missed them.In alot of ways I’m still that 16 yr. old boy ,look-
ing out of the door, waiting for her to come home,so I can tell her I love her,
and just give a hug.I love you Mama! And I would like to take this time to wish
my Mom and the good Moms all over the world a happy Mother’s Day! I ask
you “Have you ever met Sadie?”
